Kagoshima potato shochu. Made with white koji, it is distilled in a traditional wooden barrel still. Both preparation and storage are done in earthenware jars. The ingredients are sweet potatoes and rice koji. The alcohol content is 25%. They also make barley shochu and rice shochu. The brewery, Hamada Shuzo, was founded in 1868. 鹿児島の芋焼酎。白麹を使用し、昔ながらの木桶蒸留器で蒸留する。仕込み、貯蔵とも甕壺で行う。原料はさつま芋、米麹。アルコール度数25%。麦焼酎、米焼酎もある。蔵元の「濱田酒造」は明治元年(1868)創業。所在地はいちき串木野市湊町。
