Kanrogidan - Kanrogidan

...In other words, it is known as a Buddhist site related to the three founders of the Jodo sect. It flourished during the Tang dynasty, and in 795 (the 11th year of the Teigen era), the Kanrogidan was established, which became one of the three great ordination altars in Japan, along with the Reikandan in Chang'an and the Kaisendodan in Luoyang. In the front garden of the Daxiong Hall, there are two Tang dynasty monuments, the Stone Wall Mount Iron Maitreya Statue Monument and the Tang Stone Wall Zen Temple Kanrogidan Monument, and in the Seven Buddha Hall, there are seven statues of Amida Buddha with different mudras, and there is also the Sanso Hall, which enshrines images of the three masters Donran, Doshaku, and Zendo, which were sent from Japan.
