Karukado [mountain] - Karukado

Japanese: カルカド[山] - かるかど
Karukado [mountain] - Karukado

...This area is stable and has not been subject to any crustal movements such as folding or volcanic activity in the hundreds of millions of years since its formation. The highest peak on the plateau is Mount Bandeira (2,890m), which stands on the border with Minas Gerais, west of Vitoria, the capital of Espirito Santo State. In the surrounding area, there are many mountains over 2,700m above sea level, such as Mount Cruzeiro (2,861m), Mount Cristal (2,798m), and Mount Calcado (2,766m). Unlike the steep mountain forms of Japanese mountains, this mountain range resembles a plateau with gentle, undulating waves.
