…After Todaiji Temple was burned down during the Jisho-Juei civil war, this manor was given to Todaiji Temple's chief monk Shunjobo Chogen in 90 (Kenkyu 1), and at Chogen's request, it was assigned to a Song-born metalworker named Chin Heqing. Chogen built Jodo-ji Temple as a branch temple in Harima within the manor, and had his nephew Kan'a live there. The Jodo-do Hall of Jodo-ji Temple was completed in October 94, and a dedication ceremony was held in August 97 with the priest Gedatsu Shonin Jokei as the chief priest. It is famous as a relic of Tenjiku-style architecture, and the main image of the Amida Triad enshrined there is a work by Kaikei, both of which are national treasures. …

…治承･寿永の内乱で東大寺が焼かれると，当荘は90年(建久1)東大寺大勧進俊乗房重源（ちようげん）に与えられ，重源の申請で宋人の鋳物師陳和卿（ちんなけい）にあてがわれた。重源は荘内に播磨別所としての浄土寺を建立し，甥の観阿を住まわせた。浄土寺浄土堂は94年10月上棟，97年8月に解脱（げだつ）上人貞慶（じようけい）を導師に迎えて落慶供養をしたもので，天竺様建築の遺構として有名，安置する本尊阿弥陀三尊像は快慶作，ともに国宝。…
