…After Todaiji Temple was burned down during the Jisho-Juei civil war, this manor was given to Todaiji Temple's chief monk Shunjobo Chogen in 90 (Kenkyu 1), and at Chogen's request, it was assigned to a Song-born metalworker named Chin Heqing. Chogen built Jodo-ji Temple as a branch temple in Harima within the manor, and had his nephew Kan'a live there. The Jodo-do Hall of Jodo-ji Temple was completed in October 94, and a dedication ceremony was held in August 97 with the priest Gedatsu Shonin Jokei as the chief priest.
