Year of death: September 3, 1603 (October 7, 1603) Year of birth: Tenbun 15 (1546) A military commander in the Azuchi-Momoyama period. The eldest son of Inaba Ittetsu (Yoshimichi). His mother was the daughter of Sanjonishi Kimijo. He was commonly known as Hikoroku. He was called Ukyo no jo. In 1579 (Tensho 7), he took over from his father and became the lord of Sone Castle in Mino, and served Oda Nobunaga, achieving military success in various places. After the Honnoji Incident (1582), he joined Toyotomi Hideyoshi along with his father, and participated in the sieges of Ise and Kyushu. In 1582, he moved to Gujo Hachiman Castle, where he was called Hashiba Gujo Jijū. In the Battle of Sekigahara (1600), he joined the Western Army and took refuge in Inuyama Castle in Owari, but after the fall of Oda Hidenobu's Gifu Castle, he surrendered to Tokugawa Ieyasu, and was ordered to fight in the subsequent sieges of Nagashima in Ise and Minakuchi Castle in Omi, and after the war, he was transferred to Usuki in Bungo with a fief of 50,000 koku.
