Secrets of official positions - Kanshoku Hisho

Japanese: 官職秘抄 - かんしょくひしょう

A book in two volumes detailing the standards and examples of appointment to government offices under the Ritsuryo system and outside the Ritsuryo system. Written by Minister of Hyobu, Taira no Motochika, who served as Kurodo and Benkan (official official) in charge of jimoku (appointments), making full use of his extensive knowledge, it is estimated to have been completed around 1200 (Shoji 2). In the context of the establishment of a samurai government, it aims to clarify the system of government positions at the Imperial Court. It had a major influence on later commentaries on government positions, such as the Shokugensho. Included in Gunsho Ruiju. [Kaji Hiroe]

令制および令外（りようげ）の官の補任基準，補任例を記した書。上下2巻。除目（じもく）にかかわる蔵人･弁官を歴任した兵部卿平基親が，その造詣を駆使して著した。1200年(正治2)ころの成立と推定される。武家政権の成立という状況下で，朝廷の官職制度を明らかにしようとする意図を持つ。《職原鈔》など，後世の官職注釈書に大きな影響を与えた。《群書類従》所収。【加地宏江】
