Yoshihisa Kamo

Japanese: 賀茂能久 - かものよしひさ

1171-1223 A Shinto priest in the Kamakura period.
Born in the first year of the Joan era. Son of Kamo no Sukeyasu. Became the deputy chief priest of Kamigamo Shrine in 1214. A trusted vassal of the retired Emperor Gotoba, he fought against the Shogunate forces during the Jokyu War. He was captured at Rokuhara and exiled to Dazaifu. He died on June 10, the second year of the Joo era. He was 53 years old.

1171－1223　鎌倉時代の神職。
承安(じょうあん)元年生まれ。賀茂資保の子。上賀茂神社の権禰宜(ごんのねぎ)から建保(けんぽ)2年(1214)神主職となる。後鳥羽(ごとば)上皇の近臣で,承久(じょうきゅう)の乱では幕府軍とたたかった。このため六波羅(ろくはら)に捕らえられ,太宰府に流罪となった。貞応(じょうおう)2年6月10日死去。53歳。
