A pass between Kama City and Toho Village in central Fukuoka Prefecture. It is 500m above sea level. It is located on the border between the Mikuni Mountains and the Hiko Mountains, and is one of the sources of the Onga River. Since ancient times, it has been a key transportation point connecting the Onga River basin and the Hita region of Oita Prefecture.
