Iwaibe pottery
〘 noun 〙 Pottery excavated from ruins of the Kofun period in Japan. It is a hard, grey unglazed piece that is presumed to have been fired at a fairly high temperature. Many of them are thought to have been made on a potter's wheel. Pottery (sue ware) . Sueki (sueki ware) .
