Wall footing foundation - KABEFUCHINGUKISO

...A foundation in which the surface of a building that is in contact with the ground is made continuous between the columns with a certain width, or extended under the wall, in order to transmit the vertical force caused by the weight of the building acting on the columns or walls to the ground, which is weaker than the strength of the columns or walls. It is also called a continuous foundation, a continuous footing foundation, or in the case of walls, a wall footing foundation, but in architectural legal terms it is called a strip footing. It is usually made of reinforced concrete, but for light wooden buildings it may be made of unreinforced concrete.
