Wild Duck Pond - Karigamoike

Japanese: 雁鴨池 - かりがもいけ

Located in Gyeongju, Gyeongsanbuk-do, southern South Korea, these are the remains of an artificial pond in the detached palace called Imhaejeon, built during the reign of King Munmu of Silla. It is located along the bus route from Gyeongju Station to the Gyeongju National Museum, and is about a 5-minute walk from Banwolseong Fortress. The garden was reconstructed after an excavation in 1975. The vast garden features a large duck pond with three small islands, one large and one small. It is said that Silla royalty and nobles enjoyed floating boats here. The 20,000 artifacts excavated from this site are stored and exhibited at the Gyeongju National Museum. ◇It can also be read as "Anapji."

韓国南部のキョンサンプクト（慶尚北道）キョンジュ（慶州）市内にある、新羅の文武王の時代に建てられた、臨海殿という離宮の人工池の遺構。慶州駅から国立慶州博物館へ向かうバス通り沿いにあり、半月城から徒歩5分ほどのところにある。1975年の発掘調査の後、庭園が再建された。広大な庭園には、大小3つの小島がある大きな雁鴨池がある。新羅の王侯貴族は、ここに舟を浮かべて遊んだといわれている。この遺跡から出土した2万点の発掘物は、国立慶州博物館に収蔵・展示されている。◇「アナプジ」などとも読む。
