A device that heats saturated steam generated in the boiler body under constant pressure to evaporate the water and then superheats the entire steam above the saturation temperature to turn it into superheated steam. The use of superheated steam in steam power plants provides benefits such as increased theoretical thermal efficiency, increased heat drop, reduced pipe friction, and reduced corrosion of the steam motor, mainly the steam turbine blades, caused by moisture.
