...Modern daimyo. Sadachika, the son of Sadayori, a branch of the Toki clan of Mino, lived in Kanamori, Yasu County, Omi Province, and took the name Kanamori. His son Nagachika served Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and in 1585 (Tensho 13), he pacified Hida, and the following year was assigned 38,700 koku of land for the whole province. After the Battle of Sekigahara, Yoshishige was given the title of lord of Takayama Domain in Hida for generations. In 1692 (Genroku 5), Yoritoki was transferred to Kaminoyama, Dewa Province, and five years later was transferred again to become lord of Yawata Domain in Gujo County, Mino Province.
