Born in the 8th year of the Kyoho era. Studied under Izumiya Toyo and Wada Kiin. Travelled around the country preaching the revival of the Shoshu style. He was given the title of Chukososho by the Nijo family. Died on March 28th, 1811. Age 81. Born in Kaga (Ishikawa prefecture). His given name was Mitsushige.
