Live fish storehouse

…Sardines that have been kept in a fish tank for more than a week are called “iketsuke sardines.” Boats also have fish tanks (live fish storage areas), and they are transported alive to the fishing grounds. In the past, water exchange holes were drilled in the bottom of the boats, and the water was exchanged naturally.
