Huysman, R.

…an early leader of Scandinavian humanism. His real name was Roelof Huysman. He was born in Bavlo near Groningen in the Netherlands. He received his doctorate at the University of Leuven in 1465, and from 1468 he studied Greek in Pavia, Ferrara and other parts of Italy.
