Kawachi Genji

Seiwa Genji. Three generations of Minamoto no Yorinobu, Yoriyoshi, and Yoshiie lived and worked in Ishikawa County, Kawachi Province, so they are called Kawachi Genji. Yoshiie's son Yoshichika became the legitimate ancestor of the Genji, and his younger brother Yoshitoki was a native of the area and became the ancestor of the Ishikawa clan. 清和源氏。源頼信，頼義，義家の3代が河内国石川郡に住み活躍したので，これを河内源氏という。義家の子義親は源氏正統の祖となり弟の義時はここに土着，石川氏の祖となる。
