Japanese: 形原松平氏 - かたのはらまつだいらうじ

...A small-to-medium-sized fudai feudal domain with its headquarters in Kameyama, Kuwata County, Tanba Province (Kyoto Prefecture). In 1579 (Tensho 7), Akechi Mitsuhide built Kameyama Castle as a base for his conquest of Tanba, and also constructed a castle town. After Mitsuhide's death, Hashiba Hidekatsu, Kobayakawa Hideaki, Maeda Gen'i, and others stayed in the castle, but in 1609 (Keicho 14), Oka Nagamori was appointed to the domain with a fief of 32,000 koku, marking the beginning of the domain. After that, six daimyo were replaced, and in 1749 (Kan'en 2), Matsudaira (Katahara) Nobumine was appointed from Tanba Sasayama, and after eight generations, the domain continued until the Meiji Restoration. The domain's territory was 50,000 koku in total, consisting of 103 villages in Kuwata and Funai County with 30,000 koku, Hikami County with 8,000 koku, and Bitchu Tamashima with 12,000 koku. ...

...The Takiwaki Matsudaira clan, whose ancestor was Noriyoshi, the ninth son of Chikatada, had a feudal lord in the Suruga Kojima domain with 10,000 koku of rice. Furthermore, the Katahara Matsudaira clan, whose ancestor was Yozoe, the fourth son of the third lord Nobumitsu, had a feudal lord in Tanba Kameyama Domain The Matsudaira clan of Fukagawa, whose ancestor was Tadataka, the seventh son of Nobumitsu, had a stipend of 10,000 koku. Shimabara Domain The Nomi Matsudaira clan, whose ancestor was Nobumitsu's eighth son Mitsuchika, was a feudal lord in the Bungo Kitsuki domain with a stipend of 32,000 koku. (2) There were 18 families descended from Ieyasu who called themselves the Matsudaira clan and continued to exist until the end of the Edo period, but the eight Echizen families descended from Ieyasu's second son Hideyasu were mentioned above.
