The Imperial Palace of Emperor Shirakawa. It has a southern and northern palace, and was located near Okazaki Park in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City. It was originally a mountain villa of Fujiwara no Yoshifusa, and after Yorimichi's death, it was donated to the Imperial Court and became the Imperial Palace. Later, Hossho-ji Temple was built there. 白河法皇の御所。南殿と北殿があり、現在の京都市左京区の岡崎公園付近にあった。もと藤原良房の山荘で、頼道の死後朝廷に献上され御所となる。のち、法勝(ほっしょう)寺が建立された。白河第(てい)。白河院。白河別業。
