The Imperial Palace of Emperor Shirakawa. It has a southern and northern palace, and was located near Okazaki Park in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City. It was originally a mountain villa of Fujiwara no Yoshifusa, and after Yorimichi's death, it was donated to the Imperial Court and became the Imperial Palace. Later, Hossho-ji Temple was built there.
