…In the 8th to 9th century, Wang Jian of the middle Tang Dynasty created 100 palace anthems, which became popular and became a tradition. During the Five Dynasties, Lady Hua Rui, the queen of Shu, and then Wang Gui of the Northern Song Dynasty also created 100 palace anthems. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, they were published together with Wang Jian's as the "Three Palace Anthems" (Mao Jin, Kukaku). In the Qing Dynasty, the "Ten Palace Anthems" (Ni Can Ji) was published, which was further expanded. …
