...In 1930, the Chinese Left Writers League was formed with Lu Xun at its center, and continued its activities up until the Anti-Japanese War era under the banner of "Proletarian Revolutionary Literature." The International Bureau of Proletklit, established in 1920, was an international organization for proletarian literature, and in 1925 it was reorganized as the International Bureau of Revolutionary Literature. At the bureau's second conference held in Kharkov in 1930, which brought together proletarian writers from 22 countries, the organization was renamed the International Union of Revolutionary Writers (Mezhdunarodnoe ob'edinenie revolyutsionnykh pisatelei) and played a major role in the international exchange of proletarian and revolutionary literature until its dissolution in 1935. ...
