Gakushu - Study

A place name in China. A prefecture was established there during the Sui dynasty, and during the Sui and Tang dynasties, the name was changed to Bazhou and Baling County. It is currently Yueyang County in Hunan Province, on the eastern shore of Lake Dongting.
