Chemical reaction formula - KAGAKUHANNOUSHIKI

A chemical reaction is a mathematical expression that expresses the types of reactants and products in a chemical reaction, and the stoichiometric relationship between them, using element symbols and chemical formulas. The reactants are written on the left side and the products on the right side, and coefficients are assigned to each term to show the relationship in terms of the amount of substance.

The reaction is connected with a right-facing arrow or an equal sign, as shown below. The sign indicates a reversible reaction. There are also chemical reaction equations that include the state of the substance, and, like thermochemical equations, that include the flow of reaction heat that accompanies the reaction.
