A battery that converts chemical energy into electrical energy by using spontaneous chemical reactions. Two metal electrodes A and B are placed in an electrolyte solution S, and many are configured in the form of A|S|B or A|S 1 |S 2 |B. There is a liquid junction potential difference at the interface between S 1 and S 2 , which affects the electromotive force of the battery.
