Oceanic lithosphere

Japanese: 海洋リソスフェア - かいようりそすふぇあ
Oceanic lithosphere

In oceanic regions, large amounts of serpentinite have been collected from fracture zones associated with transform faults, supporting the idea that the upper mantle beneath the oceanic crust is made up of ultramafic rocks.
