...334m above sea level. A volcano that erupted into the sea, it is connected to the Kameda Peninsula by a sandbar and is also called Gagyu Mountain because it resembles a cow lying down. A fort was built on the mountain from 1899 until World War II, and entry was prohibited, so nature has been well preserved and there is a wide variety of plants.
