Circuit switching system - kaisenkoukanhoshiki

Japanese: 回線交換方式 - かいせんこうかんほうしき
Circuit switching system - kaisenkoukanhoshiki
A communication method in which devices that send and receive data are directly connected by a switchboard. The line is connected and disconnected for each data transfer, so the line can be occupied until it is disconnected. Therefore, it is suitable for transferring large amounts of data at once. A typical example is a connection using a regular telephone line.
