Open Mouth Sabotage

Open Mouth Sabotage

...Passive slowdowns, which merely reduce efficiency, are generally considered legitimate, since they only partially remove the employer's right to direct work and do not infringe on property rights. Open sabotage, which aims to disrupt business by badmouthing the company to business partners and general customers, is considered active obstruction of business and loses legitimacy if false or distorted facts are spread. Active sabotage, which aims to destroy company property, is of course unjustifiable.
