〘Noun〙① Something that is in line with one's heart. One's heart. [Jinshu - Biography of Tao Qian]② One of the Six Writings of Chinese characters. A method of combining two or more characters to create a new character based on their meaning. Like combining "sun" (sun) and "moon" (moon) to create "明" or "人" (person) and "木" to create "休". Symbolic meaning. ※Transfer theory (1854?)
