Hotbed line - Onshosen

...To ensure smooth heat generation, several types of organic matter must be mixed appropriately to achieve a carbon ratio of 30 to 40. When using electric heat as a heat source, straw or rice husks are laid at the bottom of the hotbed as insulation, then sand is added, hotbed wires (iron-chromium heating wires covered in vinyl) are buried in the sand, and bed soil is added on top of that. In a hotbed that uses fermentation heat, the bed temperature gradually drops, but in an electric heated hotbed, the bed temperature can be kept constant indefinitely.
