"Woven Raglan Fabric"

...A historical piece. (1) The puppet play was adapted into kabuki in September 1764 (Meiwa 1) as "Oriawase Tsuzure no Nishiki" at the Nakayama Bunshichi Theatre (corner play) in Osaka, and as "Hare Koso de Tsuzure no Nishiki" at the Mimasu Daigoro Theatre (middle play). The role of Jiroemon in the former was played by Nakayama Bunshichi I, and the role of Jiroemon in the latter was played by Mimasu Daigoro I.
