Koyumi Imperial Palace - Oyumigosho

This is an honorific title for Yoshiaki Ashikaga, son of Masauji Ashikaga, the Koga kubō. Yoshiaki was in conflict with his father and older brother Takamoto, and in 1517, he entered Koyumi Castle in Shimousa Province (present-day Chiba Prefecture) and became independent from the Koga kubō. 古河公方足利政氏の子足利義明の敬称。父や兄高基と対立した義明が永正 14 (1517) 年，下総国 (現千葉県) 小弓城に入り，古河公方から独立したのでこの名がある。
