A term used in gagaku music. A non-metered playing style used on the sho and hichiriki to play in various tones, and on the ryuteki and komabue to play shingen, irijo, and ranjo. Following the notes of each main player, multiple assistant players play slightly behind the lead player's melody, keeping in mind the meguri melody. 雅楽用語。笙・篳篥 (ひちりき) では各調の調子の演奏に,竜笛 (りゅうてき) ・高麗笛 (こまぶえ) は品玄,入調,乱声 (らんじょう) の演奏に用いる無定拍節の奏法。各管主奏者の吹き出しに従って,複数の助奏者は前奏者の旋律 (メグリ) を意識しながら,少しずつ遅れて追奏する。
