…The shrines listed in the Shikinai are Tsuge Mikumarijinja Shrine and Tsuge Yamaguchijinja Shrine. The grave of Oharida Yasumaro, a middle-class aristocrat from the early Nara period, was discovered on the southern slope of Ko-oka, southeast of the former, and the epitaph on the grave reads that the site is "Owakoku Yamabe-gun Tokago-gun Satogaya-bo." It is also noted in the Nihon Shoki and other sources that there was an ice house in Tsuge, and the site behind Himuro Shrine in Fukuzumi-cho, Tenri City, is identified with the site. …

…式内社として，都祁水分神社，都祁山口神社がある。前者の東南，甲岡（こうおか）の南斜面から，小治田（おはりだ）安万侶という奈良時代初期の中流貴族の墓が発見されたが，その墓誌にはこの地を〈大倭国山辺郡都家郷郡里崗安墓〉と記している。なお，この都祁には氷室（ひむろ）があったことが《日本書紀》などに見えるが，現在の天理市福住町にある氷室神社背後の地がそれに比定されている。…
