Onishiogama - Onishiogama

A semi-parasitic perennial plant of the Scrophulariaceae family (APG classification: Orobanchaceae). The stem is erect and 0.4 to 1 meter tall. The large, pinnately lobed stem grows at the base of the plant. In August and September, the plant produces a spike at the end of the stem, which blooms into large, pink, lip-shaped flowers. It resembles Hankaishiogama, but has circular bracts and the stem does not branch much. It grows in slightly damp areas in the mountains on the Sea of ​​Japan side of Ishikawa and Akita prefectures.

ゴマノハグサ科（APG分類：ハマウツボ科）の半寄生性の多年草。茎は直立して高さ0.4～1メートル。羽状に裂けた大きな茎が根際につく。8～9月、茎の先に花穂をつくり、桃色の大きな唇形花を開く。ハンカイシオガマに似るが、包葉が円形で、茎はあまり分枝しない。石川県から秋田県の日本海側の山地の、やや湿った所に生える。
