...In Japan, many species flower from spring to autumn, and the long flowering period allows for viewing for 4 to 6 weeks. Intergeneric hybrids have also been produced between the Oncidium genus (Odontocidium) and the Miltonia genus ( Odontonia) . They require temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees Celsius or higher to overwinter, and prefer places with cooler night temperatures in summer.
