Otto, K. - Oops

...His popular works, intended as entertainment, appealed to the tastes of the audience and became the most popular works of his time. His second son, Otto Evstaf'evich K. (1788-1846), was an explorer who circumnavigated the globe three times. He discovered several islands in the Marshall and Tuamotu Islands, surveyed the coastline of Alaska, and discovered Kotzebue Bay in the northwest.
