Odawara Shonin - Odawara Shonin

...A Nembutsu saint at Mount Koya in the late Heian period. He was also known as the Odawara Saint or Odawara Gyojobo. He was from Kyoto, became a monk and entered Kofuku-ji Temple, where he studied under Hayashi Kai, but then moved to a branch temple of Kofuku-ji Temple in Odawara, Kuze County, Yamashiro Province, and began a life of Nembutsu.
