…The arrangement differs depending on the school of ancient calligraphy, but it is basically composed of three parts: a hierarchy centered on the Emperor, famous calligraphy such as Takanokiri, Ishiyamakiri, Sanpitsu, and Sanseki, and calligraphy of the head of the waka and calligraphy schools. It is customary to place a fragment of a large-character sutra called Daishomu at the beginning of the volume. There are many surviving pieces, but the most representative ones are the national treasure handbook "Moshiokusa" (Kyoto National Museum), "Ote Kagami" (Yomei Bunko), "Hanbokujo" (MOA Museum of Art), and "Minuse no Tomo" (Idemitsu Museum of Arts).
