A Chinese scholar and man of letters from the Qing Dynasty. Born in Qingpu County, Jiangsu Province. His pen name was Defu. His pen name was Shu'an. He was called Master Lanquan. In the 19th year of the Qianlong era (1754), he passed the Jinshi examination and became a vassal of the Ministry of Crime. He was dismissed from his post for a crime, but was reinstated for military merit, and served as a governor of the three provinces of Shaanxi, Yunnan, and Jiangxi. In the 59th year of the Qianlong era, he retired from his post and named his residence Chunrong Hall, where he enjoyed writing and writing. He participated in the compilation of books such as "Da Qing Yitong Zhi" and "Zou San Tong." He enjoyed the study of epigraphy and stone, and excelled in both poetry and prose. He studied poetry by Du Fu, Han Yu, and Lu You, lyricism by Jiang Kui, and prose by Han Yu. He also wrote many essays and geographical works. His works include the poetry and prose collection "Shunryudo Poetry and Prose Collection," as well as works he has written such as "Kibuni (Chronicles of the Conquest of Burma)," "Kibuni (Chronicles of Shubi)," and "Compilation of Metal and Stone Writings," and edited works such as "Compilation of Ming Poetry," "Poetry of the Lakes and Seas," and "Textual Writings of the Lakes and Seas."

中国,清の学者,文学者。江蘇省青浦県の人。字,徳甫。号,述庵。蘭泉先生と呼ばれた。乾隆 19 (1754) 年進士に及第,刑部郎中となり,一時罪によって免職されたが軍功によって復官し,陝西,雲南,江西3省の布政使などをつとめた。同 59年退官,居所を春融堂と名づけて自適,著述にあたった。『大清一統志』『続三通』などの書の編纂に参加,金石の学を好み,また詩文ともにすぐれ,詩は杜甫,韓愈,陸游 (りくゆう) ,詞は姜 夔 (きょうき) ,文は韓愈を宗とした。ほかに随筆,地誌など著作が多い。詩文集『春融堂詩文集』,著『征緬紀聞』『蜀徼紀聞』『金石萃編』,編著『明詩綜』『湖海詩伝』『湖海文伝』など。
