Japanese: オオツノヒツジ（英語表記）Ovis canadensis; bighorn

A wild sheep of the Bovidae family in the order Artiodactyla. It is also called a bighorn sheep. Its body length is 130-195 cm. Its body is gray-brown with a large white spot on its lower back. Males have thick, curved horns. During mating season, males fight by clashing their horns with each other. It is found in western North America (Rocky Mountains) and lives in groups of several on the rocky terrain of the mountains.
