MacNeice
British poet. Along with Auden and Spender, he is one of the poets of the 1930s. His collections of poems include "Autumn Diary" (1939), "The High Point" (1961) and "The Burning Perch" (1963). After 1941, he worked as a writer and producer for the BBC, and produced a collection of radio dramas, "The Dark Tower" (1946).
