Born in Taiei 7. Served Tokugawa Ieyasu, became the lord of Mamushizuka Castle in Totomi (Shizuoka Prefecture) and Yokosuka Castle, and fought against Takeda Katsuyori's army. In Tensho 12, he led the vanguard in the Battle of Nagakute, defeating Miyoshi (Toyotomi) Hidetsugu's army. Died on June 23, Tensho 17. Age 63. Commonly known as Gorozaemon.
