In the summer of 1615, the first year of the Genna era, the Tokugawa side filled in the moat inside Osaka Castle, contrary to the terms of the peace agreement of the Winter Siege, so the Toyotomi side raised an army and captured the castle, which was then attacked by Tokugawa Ieyasu and his men.
