Born: March 14, 1839 (Tenpo 10). [Died] August 31, 1912. Head of the Nagauta shamisen and singing school. Son of Shogunate official Wada Rokutaro (second Nagauta master Yoshimura Kozaburo). Adopted by the 10th head of a branch family, Rokuzaemon. After passing through the 9th head Kineya Kisaburo, he took the name of the 12th in 1868. Composed pieces such as "Shin Shochikubai" and "Chiyo no Kagura". He established the heyday of the Nagauta world as the head of the family.
