...Kakusho (Sukeroku Agemaki). The Osaka Sennichiji Shinju, which took place in December 1699 (Genroku 12), was immediately adapted into a kabuki play in Kyoto and Osaka the following year, and the story of Osaka Sennichiji Shinju was also performed in Bunraku puppet theatre (estimated to be in 1700). Starting with this Sennichiji Shinju, a revised version of Osaka Sukeroku Shinju Monogatari and Miyakoichichu's Sukeroku Shinju and Cicada's Nukegara were created, forming the lineage of Sukeroku Shinju.
