Gastrin

One of the representative gastrointestinal hormones secreted from G cells in the gastric mucosa. It promotes gastric juice secretion. It is a peptide hormone consisting of 17 amino acids, with the smallest unit being a tetrapeptide (WMDF#: # is an amide). Secretion is stimulated when partial protein hydrolysates, alcohol, etc. reach the stomach. Mechanical stimulation of the stomach wall also induces secretion. 胃粘膜のG細胞から分泌される代表的な消化管ホルモンの一つ．胃液分泌を促進する．アミノ酸17個のペプチドホルモンであるが，最少単位はテトラペプチド (WMDF＃：＃はアミド) である．タンパク質部分分解物，アルコールなどが胃に到達すると分泌が刺激される．胃壁の機械的な刺激も分泌を引き起こす．幽門部のpHが分泌を調節する．
