Tadamoto Okubo

Japanese: 大久保忠職 - おおくぼ ただもと
Tadamoto Okubo
1604-1670 A daimyo in the early Edo period.
Born in 1606. The eldest son of Okubo Tadatsune. In 1613, he became the second head of the Okubo clan to rule the Musashi Kisaichi Domain (Saitama Prefecture). After serving in the Mino Kano Domain and the Harima Akashi Domain, in 1655, he became the first head of the Okubo clan to rule the Hizen Karatsu Domain (Saga Prefecture). His stipend was 83,000 koku. He died on April 19, 1667. He was 67 years old.

慶長9年生まれ。大久保忠常の長男。慶長16年武蔵(むさし)私市(きさい)藩(埼玉県)藩主大久保家2代となる。美濃(みの)加納藩,播磨(はりま)明石(あかし)藩をへて,慶安2年肥前唐津(からつ)藩(佐賀県)藩主大久保家初代。8万3000石。寛文10年4月19日死去。67歳。
