Wakatsuki-so

Japanese: 若槻荘 - わかつきのしょう

A manor in Soekami County, Yamato Province (present-day Yamatokoriyama City, Nara Prefecture). It has 38 cho and 7 tan of rice fields. It was originally the territory of the Yakushiji Dengyoin, but in the early Kamakura period, when Daijoin Takanobu became the head priest of Yakushiji, it became the territory of Daijoin. The manor area spans 2 jo 1 ri and 3 jo 1 ri in Soekami County, and is almost entirely uninhabited by other manors. With the exception of one pond, the majority of the land is a plain-type manor of rice fields. The land register for 1307 (Tokuji 2) lists 21 names, but according to the old names listed in the same register, in the Kamakura period the manor land of 38 cho 7 tan was made up of 17 cho 3 tan of removed land in Tsukuda, Kyuda, etc., and 21 cho 3 tan of named fields and farmland consisting of 15 names.Each of these 15 names was a typical equal-sized manor with an average of 1 cho 5 to 6 tan of rice fields and farmland and 1 tan of house.

大和国添上郡(現，奈良県大和郡山市)の荘園。田数38町7反余。もと薬師寺伝教院領であったが，鎌倉初期に，大乗院尊信が薬師寺別当を兼帯して以来，大乗院領となった。荘域は添上郡の2条1里と3条1里にまたがり，ほとんど他荘をまじえず，1ヵ所の池を除く大半が田畠の平野型荘園である。1307年(徳治2)の土帳には21の名（みよう）がみえるが，同土帳の旧名の記載によると，鎌倉時代には荘田38町7反余が，佃･給田等の除田17町3反半と，15の名からなる21町3反余の名田畠で構成されていたが，これら15の各名が，平均1町5ないし6反の田畠と1反の屋敷を有する典型的な均等名荘園であった。
