An animal of the Marsupial order of the Mammalia class, family Kangarooidae. Also known as the grey kangaroo. It is found in Australia and Tasmania. It is one of the largest animals in the family, with a head and body length of 1.1 to 1.5 meters, males nearly twice as large as females, and weigh up to 80 kilograms. Its body color varies widely, from gray-brown to reddish brown to brown. It lives in groups in the forests of the plains, and its staple food is grass.
